Region 35: Serving Cupertino and Neighboring Cities

Core Program Details

AYSO Region 35 runs a structured program during the Fall and Spring Soccer Seasons. The Region serves players from 4 - 18 yrs old. We typically have more than 600 kids playing soccer in the region every season. Players are grouped by calendar year of birth into divisions 6U, 7U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 19U boys & girls teams. We (AYSO Region 35) adhere to the Six philosophies of AYSO - Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration (we accept players from all locations), Positive Coaching, Good Sportmanship and Player development.

Fall season officially starts with 1st game on Second Saturday of September  (typically first or second Saturday after Labor day) and ends in November (Saturday before Thanks Giving day weekend).  All teams are formed by end of August and TRAINING starts in September.

Spring season officially starts with 1st game on first Saturday after end of day light savings (typically Second Saturday of March) and ends in May (Saturday before memorial day weekend). All teams are formed by early March and TRAINING starts after that.

Uniforms are provided
. Players will need to bring their own shin guards (mandatory), soccer ball (size appropriate mandatory) and soccer cleats (nice to have). For 5U & 6U, the region will provide a soccer ball for each registered player.

Special situation around Covid-19: Due to the ongoing situation around the pandemic, the program will be altered to ensure safety of the kids, parents and volunteers. We will also be following guidelines from the City, County, State, CDC and AYSO National as applicable. We are requesting flexibility while we try to get the youth and everyone associated back on the field to experience outdoor sports again.

  • Competitive and All Star team (based on tryouts: higher level & more commitment to soccer).
