Spring & Fall Soccer Info.

Cupertino AYSO runs a structured program during the Fall and Spring Soccer Seasons. Cupertino Soccer serves players from 3 - 18 yrs old as of Jul 31st of that year. We typically get in excess of 750 kids playing soccer in Cupertino every season. Players are grouped by age into divisions U5, U6, U8, U10, U12, U14, U16 and U19 boys & girls teams. We have an open registration policy and accept players from all locations.

Spring season officially starts with 1st game on Second Saturday of March (typically first Saturday after end of day light savings) ends in May end (Saturday before memorial day weekend).

Fall season officially starts with 1st game on Second Saturday of September  (typically first or second Saturday after Labor day) ends in November end (Saturday before Thanks Giving day weekend).   All teams formed by August end. TRAINING starts in September, see calendar. Cupertino Soccer.

Uniforms provided
, players needs to bring their own shin guards (mandatory), soccer ball (size appropriate mandatory) and soccer cleats (nice to have).

Team Options:
  • Competitive and All Star team (based on tryouts: higher level & more commitment to soccer).
  • Regular fun open teams with balanced approach.
  • U8 and U10 play in regional tournament
Regular Program (training for U8 and above typically start late in the afternoon around 5:30 pm & end before 7:00 pm)
  • Division U5 & U6 (under 5s & under 6s): One session per week on Saturday from 9:00 am to 10:30 am starting first Saturday of season to the last Saturday of the season. (Regnart or Faria Elementary school). Plus weekly one hour of afternoon skills training under professional coach through the season. A total of 2.5 hours per week.
  • Division U7 (6): Boys training once a week guided by professional coach trainers (pick either Wed at Faria or Thursday at Eaton or Fri at Stevens Creek school), games on Saturday between 9:00 and noon, sometimes until 1:00 pm, games for girls at Kennedy middle school and boys at Stevens Creek elementary school.
  • Division U8 (7 boys and 6&7 girls): Training once a week guided by professional coach trainers (pick either Wed at Faria or Thursday at Eaton or Fri at Stevens Creek school), games on Saturday between 9:00 and noon, sometimes until 1:00 pm, games for girls at Kennedy middle school and boys at Stevens Creek elementary school.
  • Division U10 (8 & 9): Boys and Girls, offered training twice a week (one of which is either Tuesday (Eaton) or Thursday (KMS), second training day based on coach/team choice), games on Saturday between 9:00 and noon, sometimes until 1:00 pm, games for girls and boys at Kennedy middle school
  • Division U12 (10 & 11): Boys and Girls, offered training twice a week (one of which is girls Monday and boys Tuesday second training day based on coach/team choice), games on Saturday between 9:00 and noon, sometimes until 1:00 pm, games for girls at Kennedy middle school, and boys at Faria elementary School
  • Division U14 (12 & 13): Boys and Girls, offered training twice a week (one of which is either Monday/Wednesday, second training day based on coach/team choice), games on Saturday between 9:00 and noon, sometimes until 3:00 pm, games for girls and boys at Eaton elementary school.
  • Division U16 (14 & 15): Boys and Girls, offered training twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday at Faria ), games on Sunday home field for girls and boys is DeAnza college.
  • Division U19 (16,17 & 18): Boys and Girls, offered training twice a week (Tuesday and Thursday at Faria ), games on Sunday home field for girls and boys is DeAnza college.

Additionally soccer camps available during ski and Spring break. All select team games are on Sunday, select games may involve travel.

Game Duration:

U5/U6-10 minute half's and 20 minute games
U8   - 20 minute half's and 40 minute games
U10 - 25 minute half's and 50 minute games
U12 - 30 minute half's and 60 minute games
U14 - 35 minute half's and 70 minute games
U16 - 40 minute half's and 80 minute games
U19 - 45 minute half's and 90 minute games

Spring: A $25 processing fee before/on Nov. 30th and a $50 processing fee ON/AFTER Dec. 1st will apply to withdraw/cancel registration. Absolutely no refund after Feb 15th.

Fall: A $25 processing fee before/on June 30th and a $50 processing fee on/after July 1st will apply to withdraw/cancel registration . Absolutely no refund after August 15th.
