We provide formal online and in-person classes to help you to obtain the AYSO required certifications.
Volunteer Forms:All volunteers must have a current volunteer form on file. A new form must be submitted every year. Forms processed for the Fall Season carry forward in to the following Spring. Forms can be created/updated by following the procedure in the
volunteer page. All forms must be validated by the region's CVPA.
Safe Haven:
All volunteers are required to complete Safe Haven Certification. Safe Haven training focuses on safety and appropriate behavior with children as well as first aid and other on-field issues. You are only required to complete this certification once in your coaching career unless the course is refreshed. The course is available free on
aysou.
Age Appropriate Coaching Certification:All coaches (head and assistant) are required to complete coaching certification at or above the division that they are working with. Cupertino and nearby regions provide training every season for U6 thru U12 Coaches. Intermediate (required for U14), Advanced (required for U16+) and National courses are provided two or three times per year.
