Region 35: Serving Cupertino and Neighboring Cities

Core Program Details

AYSO Region 35 runs a structured program during the Fall and Spring Soccer Seasons. The Region serves players from 4 - 18 yrs old. We typically have more than 250 kids playing soccer in the region every season. Players are grouped by calendar year of birth into divisions 6U, 8U, 10U, 12U, 14U, 16U and 19U boys & girls teams. We (AYSO Region 35) adhere to the Six philosophies of AYSO - Everyone Plays, Balanced Teams, Open Registration (we accept players from all locations), Positive Coaching, Good Sportsmanship and Player development.

Fall season officially starts with the 1st game on Saturday of September after Labor day and runs for 10 weeks.  All teams are formed by the end of August and TRAINING starts in September.

Spring season officially starts with the 1st game on first Saturday after the end of daylight savings in March and ends in May before Memorial day weekend. All teams are formed by the end of February and TRAINING starts in March.

Uniforms are provided
. Players will need to bring their own shin guards (mandatory), soccer ball (size appropriate mandatory) and soccer cleats (nice to have). For 6U, the region will provide a soccer ball for each registered player.

Team Options:
  • Regular fun open teams with a balanced approach.
  • Certain age divisions play region tournament
Regular Program Details:

  • Division 6U: Boys and Girls, Typically one session per week on Saturday morning between 9:00 AM to 10:15 AM.
  • Division 8U: Boys and Girls, Team practice once a week on a weekday evening (based on coach choice) , games on Saturday between 9:00 and 12:00 pm. 
  • Division 10U: Boys and Girls, Team practice once or twice a week on weekday evenings (based on coach choice), games on Saturday typically between 9:00 and 1:00 pm. There will be some local travel required to neighboring cities for Saturday games and kickoff times may vary.
  • Division 12U: Boys and Girls, offered training twice a week (based on coach choice), games on Saturday. The home field is typically Kennedy middle school. Travel will be required for some of the games with other teams that are part of Area 2J.
  • Division 14U: offered training twice a week (based on coach choice), games on Saturday with home field at Eaton Elementary school. Travel will be required for some of the games with other teams that are part of Area 2J.
